Beef Chili

This delicious chili recipe I learned on a Mexico trip last summer. Chili is great espacially after a bottle of tequilla:)

What do we need?

  • Grated cheddar cheese
  • Chopped onions
  • Sour cream
  • 1/4 pound bacon, coarsely chopped
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 28-ounce can of chopped tomatoes
  • 2 15 1/2-ounce cans hot chili beans or other canned chili beans
  • 1 1.48-ounce package chili seasoning mix

How it's made?

Make bacon inside pot over medium-high heat until brown, about 4 minutes. Add beef to pot and cook until brown, about 7 minutes. After that add tomatoes with juices, beans and chili seasoning mix. Bring chili to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook until thickened to desired consistency, for about 40 minutes. Finally serve with salt and fresh pepper.
